We strongly advocate the right of every child to receive a broad, balanced and relevant education, delivered through the National Curriculum and Religious Education.

Pupils experiencing learning difficulties will receive differentiated work within their capabilities and if appropriate, help from the Special Needs Teacher. A copy of our policy is available at the school. 

As a school we try to identify children’s needs as early as possible. If, in the opinion of the teachers, and with parental approval an assessment is deemed necessary, then the child is referred to the Educational Psychologist.

The needs and assessment of children are dealt with in complete confidentiality.
